Our home daycare in Chicago offers high-quality, personalized, and dependable child care services for working families in the Northwest Side of Chicago and the surrounding suburbs. We are a licensed childcare provider operating with a small license capacity to ensure that each child receives dedicated, individualized attention.

Meet Our Director

My name is Eva Makris, and I am the owner and Program Director of Early Milestones Home Daycare. I hold a Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of Illinois at Chicago and am a certified teacher licensed by the Illinois State Board of Education.

As an early childhood educator, my goal is to provide children with a warm, supportive, and engaging environment that feels like home, supporting families while they work. I believe that children learn most effectively through play and recognize the importance of playtime in fostering cognitive, physical, social, and emotional development.

Early Milestones Home Daycare complies with all state requirements set forth by the State of Illinois. We hold current First-Aid and CPR certifications. Our program includes two nutritious meals and snacks each day, featuring a variety of fresh fruits, vegetables, and whole grains.

Our facility is thoughtfully designed to offer a warm, home-like environment while providing dedicated areas for active learning and play. Additionally, we maintain a low teacher-to-child ratio to ensure each child receives individualized attention. This approach supports their development and helps them reach their full potential.

What a great environment for babies. Eva is great with our one year old boy, who is full of energy.
